Noah’s Ark: Thoughts From The Beginning Of The End

After 400 days at sea, a lone mariner finally manages to reconnect with others. His mind has slipped into a nether realm of past, present, and future as he struggles to make sense of whether he is still adrift or has landed; whether he should stay aboard or depart into an altered world. Within the confines of his cabin, all realities - from biblical myths to futuristic post-human open mic nights - have become equally plausible. What lies beyond his cabin suggests he must choose to accept one reality.

 

Devin wrote and starred in this one-person 70-minute play devised for a virtual audience, and produced by Sea Dog and directed by the company’s co-founder, Christopher Domig. The play enjoyed two multi-week runs—in the summer and then fall of 2021.
